{"id":10226,"date":"2026-07-13T13:21:09","date_gmt":"2026-07-13T17:21:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pilgrimage-for-restoration.org\/blog\/?p=10226"},"modified":"2026-07-13T13:24:48","modified_gmt":"2026-07-13T17:24:48","slug":"from-chartres-to-auriesville-and-back-again-pilgrimages-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pilgrimage-for-restoration.org\/blog\/?p=10226","title":{"rendered":"from Chartres to Auriesville and back again &#8211; Pilgrimages 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"The following e-letters &#8230; <!--more-->arrived last May from France, sent by a French-American veteran pilgrim of the Auriesville &#038; Chartres pilgrimages, Mrs. Armelle Sigaud, who was at the time making our &#8216;sister-pilgrimage&#8217; in France.\n<p> <\/p>\nMrs. Sigaud and Mrs. Erika Zepeda of West Virginia, made pilgrimage together to Chartres this past spring, at the annual <i>Pentecost Pilgrimage<\/i>.\n<p> <\/p>\n<b>At the invitation of pilgrimage Director M. Jean de Tauriers<\/b> (see <a href=\"https:\/\/pilgrimage-for-restoration.org\/blog\/?p=10239\" target=\"_blank\">this post<\/a>), and as representatives of the <i>Pilgrimage for Restoration<\/i>, these intrepid Ladies walked in penance three days and brought to Our Blessed Lady your intentions during the <i>Pentecost Pilgrimage<\/i> this past May.\n<p> <\/p>\nThen, holding with two &#8216;tickets&#8217; gifted to us by M. de Tauriers, they were granted entry into the packed Cathedral for the crowning Mass, when they brought your petitions &#038; intentions all the way to Our Most Holy Lord&#8217;s Altar and Our Blessed Lady&#8217;s shrine.\n<p> <\/p>\nMrs. Zepeda, Mother of Twelve and Grandmother of a few, serves currently as Director for Special Projects and is also a co-founder of the pilgrimage to Auriesville.
