{"id":25,"date":"2010-11-11T19:02:55","date_gmt":"2010-11-12T00:02:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pilgrimage.stblogs.com\/?p=25"},"modified":"2016-05-02T12:06:50","modified_gmt":"2016-05-02T16:06:50","slug":"pilgrims-join-angels-in-praise-of-the-way","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pilgrimage-for-restoration.org\/blog\/?p=25","title":{"rendered":"Pilgrims join Angels in praise of The Way"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Along with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nycchorale.org\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>New York Catholic Chorale<\/em><\/a> which has also sung the final Mass beautifully for years, the <em>\u201cPilgrimage Choir\u201d<\/em> has often been a presence at the <em>Pilgrimage for Restoration,<\/em> providing the music for the weekday Masses and some years for final Liturgy Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>As the name implies, the <em>Pilgrimage Choir\u2019s<\/em> members are themselves pilgrim veterans, hailing from St. Joseph Oratory in Green Bay, WI. As pilgrims themselves, they truly enter into the spirit of the pilgrimage and understand the import of the Liturgy which sustains the pilgrims on their journey.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">[youtube]tMSHrZbCe38[\/youtube]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Pilgrimage Choir, directed by Professor Rebecca Ostermann,<br \/>\nrehearses in Coliseum church at Auriesville, 2010<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The members of the <em>Pilgrimage Choir<\/em> 2010 are:<\/p>\n<p>Hannah Haltom, alto 1st-year pilgrim<br \/>\nChristina Kanzenbach, soprano 8-yr vet<br \/>\nRebecca Kanzenbach, soprano 10-yr vet<br \/>\nWilliam Kanzenbach, tenor 8-yr vet<br \/>\nKaleb Kerscher, bass 4-yr vet<br \/>\nAndrew Ostermann, bass 3-yr vet<br \/>\nJulia Ostermann, soprano &amp; organist 6-yr vet<br \/>\nSarah Ostermann, soprano 8-yr vet<br \/>\nAlberta Qamar, alto 7-yr vet<br \/>\nFabian Qamar, tenor &amp; organist 7-yr vet<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s <em>Pilgrimage Choir<\/em> was honored to welcome four guest members from the Schola of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nycchorale.org\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>New York Catholic Chorale,<\/em> Artists-in-Residence at Sienna College, Loudonville, New York<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p>William Helmer, tenor\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Dennis Coker, tenor\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Chris Ritter, bass\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ken Rudolph, bass<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Pilgrimage Choir<\/em> is conducted by Rebecca Ostermann, 12-year pilgrimage veteran, including the groundbreaking <em>Pilgrimage for Restoration<\/em> in 1996.
