What for? When?<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/pilgrimage-for-restoration.org\/assistance-logistics\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">shuttle service<\/a> is provided through the charity of the pilgrim-volunteers of the <a href=\"https:\/\/companyofsaintrenegoupil.wordpress.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Company of St. Ren\u00e9 Goupil<\/em><\/a> (<em>CSRG<\/em>) apostolate.<\/p>\n<p>But every pilgrim must <a title=\"Request the shuttle Thursday from pilgrimage end-point to starting location\" href=\"http:\/\/national-coalition.org\/w\/transportation-request-form\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">request it<\/a>, after registering.<\/p>\n<p>Since all pilgrims need to recover their vehicles at the end of the pilgrimage, or to be shuttled to &amp; from public transportation (PT), each pilgrim needs to plan in advance with the organizers.<\/p>\n<p>Submitting the <a href=\"http:\/\/national-coalition.org\/w\/transportation-request-form\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">shuttle request<\/a> facilitates your transportation Thursday, September 27, from Auriesville (or PT terminal) to Lake George Village, and again Friday morning &#8212; if needed, from motel to check-in.<\/p>\n<p>(Pilgrims camping Thursday night need to request the shuttle but only for the Thursday portion of the service, since Friday morning they are already at the step-off point in the Lake George Battleground Campground.)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Here&#8217;s how it works<\/strong>, with options for (<b>a<\/b>.) those driving solo, or (<b>b<\/b>.) those with passengers or car-pooling, or (<b>c<\/b>.) those arriving <em>via<\/em> public transportation:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><b><i>a<\/i><\/b>. \u00a0 On Thursday afternoon and early evening, lone-drivers drive solo to the destination-point of the pilgrimage: to the <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/Z3EzzwpJSrL2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">parking lot behind the Coliseum church at the Shrine in Auriesville<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Pilgrim-drivers leave their vehicles parked there until Sunday.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The <em>CSRG<\/em> volunteers then shuttle the drivers to the pilgrimage starting point: whether to a local motel (e.g., <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cramerspointmotel.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Cramer&#8217;s Point<\/a>) or to the <a href=\"http:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/t0HGw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Lake George Battleground Campground<\/a>.<br \/>\n<b><i>b<\/i><\/b>. \u00a0 <em>For those pilgrims car-pooling or with passengers<\/em>, drivers <b>must first drop them and their gear off at the step-off location: the starting-point of the pilgrimage in Lake George Village<\/b>: whether at a motel (e.g., <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cramerspointmotel.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Cramer&#8217;s Point Motel &amp; Cottages<\/a>) or the <a href=\"http:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/t0HGw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Lake George Battleground Campground<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Then, the drivers drive <b><i>solo<\/i><\/b> (as above) to the <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/Z3EzzwpJSrL2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">parking lot<\/a> behind the Coliseum church at the Shrine in Auriesville. Pilgrim-drivers leave their vehicles parked there until Sunday.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>In this case also, the <em>CSRG<\/em> volunteers shuttle the drivers from end-point back to the pilgrimage starting-point: whether to a local motel (e.g., <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cramerspointmotel.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Cramer&#8217;s Point<\/a>) or to the <a href=\"http:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/t0HGw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Lake George Battleground Campground<\/a>.<br \/>\n<b><i>c<\/i><\/b>. \u00a0 For pilgrims flying into Albany International Airport, or arriving by train or bus at the Amtrack or bus terminals in Albany, the shuttle service can be requested to pick-up directly at the terminal.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Are you arriving in the region by PT <em>after<\/em> 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 27, or departing <em>before<\/em> 7:00 p.m. Sunday, September 30?<\/p>\n<p>In that case, then you <b>must e-mail or phone the volunteer in charge of shuttling pilgrims <em><strong>prior<\/strong><\/em> to finalizing your flight\/train\/bus reservations to\/from the Albany metro-region<\/b>. (Find his contact info <a href=\"http:\/\/national-coalition.org\/w\/transportation-request-form\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">on this page<\/a>, in the right margin, under the &#8220;<strong>Important<\/strong>&#8221; notice.)<\/p>\n<p>This year, veteran pilgrim Dennis Mitchell of Bangor, Pennsylvania, is once again heading the CSRG Transportation-Team. He and fellow-pilgrims of the <em>Company<\/em> need your cooperation, ASAP. Please help them plan the necessary arrangements for hundreds of pilgrims.
