See also Question #8, \u201cWhat food should I bring, and how should I pack it?\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The <i>Company of St. Ren\u00e9 Goup\u00eel&#8217;s<\/i> volunteers help pilgrims throughout. The <i>Company<\/i> provides some first-aid for foot-sore, blistered pilgrims. The volunteers also transport pilgrims&#8217; gear from camp to camp &#8212; and give rides to weary walkers, too. They also help to prepare bivouacs along the way. Pilgrims assist one another &#8212; especially the women &amp; children &#8212; to pitch tents.<\/p>\n<p>Friday and Saturday\u2019s privately owned sites are equipped with running water, toilets, a few showers and wash basins, with remote electrical supply only.<\/p>\n<p>Pilgrim families or\/and seniors participating in the &#8220;Modified Pilgrimage&#8221; may park RVs at each private campsite for an additional fee paid directly to the campsite personnel or owners on location.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>In every instance, parents or seniors contact the manager\/owner directly, optimally in advance.<\/p>\n<p>day-1 Fri-Sat \u2014 <a href=\"mailto:alpinelake@equitylifestyle.com?subject=inquiry%20-Pilgrimage%202019%20RV%20or%20cabin\">Alpine Lake RV Resort<\/a> Susan Dugan, Assistant mgr 518-654-6260<\/p>\n<p>day-2 Sat-Sun \u2014 <a href=\"mailto:popslakecamp@aol.com?subject=inquiry%20-Pilgrimage%202019%20RV%20or%20cabin\">Pop\u2019s Lake Campground<\/a> \u201cKat\u201d or Bob Stead, owners 518-883-8678<\/p>\n<p>day-3 Sun-Mon &#8212; Pilgrims may camp Sunday night at the Martyrs\u2019 Shrine, but there is no hook-up or water on site.
