See also Question #8, \u201cWhat food should I bring, and how should I pack it?\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/pilgrimage-for-restoration.org\/volunteer\/about-the-company-of-st-rene-goupil\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><i>Company of St. Ren\u00e9 Goup\u00eel&#8217;s<\/i><\/a> volunteers help pilgrims throughout. The <i>Company<\/i> provides some first-aid for foot-sore, blistered pilgrims. <em><strong>The volunteers also transport pilgrims&#8217; gear from camp to camp &#8212; and give rides to weary walkers, too.<\/strong> <\/em>They also help to prepare bivouacs along the way. Pilgrims assist one another &#8212; especially the women &amp; children &#8212; to pitch tents.<\/p>\n<p>This year Friday and Saturday\u2019s privately owned sites are equipped only with running water. Organizers provide portable toilets, make-shift showers and wash basins, with (very) remote electrical supply only.<\/p>\n<p>Pilgrim families or\/and seniors participating in the &#8220;Modified Pilgrimage&#8221; may park RVs at each private campsite Friday and Saturday for an additional fee paid directly to the campsite organizers or to the property owners on location.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>In every instance, parents or seniors contact and pay the manager of the first night&#8217;s campground at Mtn.
