See Question #8, \u201cWhat food should I bring, and how should I pack it?\u201d, and Question #7, &#8220;What gear should I pack, and how should I pack it &#8211; and my tent?&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Aided in particular by the ever-ready volunteers of the <a href=\"https:\/\/pilgrimage-for-restoration.org\/volunteer\/about-the-company-of-st-rene-goupil\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><i>Company of St. Ren\u00e9 Goup\u00eel&#8217;s<\/i><\/a> organizers plan for and help pilgrims in many ways every step of the way.<\/p>\n<p><b>Organizers supply pilgrims continuously<\/b> with plenty of bottled water throughout, and supplement pilgrims&#8217; meals with hot soup &amp; bread in the evening and hot water &amp; bread with jam at breakfast.<\/p>\n<p>Organizers also supply portable toilets along the way.<\/p>\n<p>The <i>Company<\/i> provides some first-aid for foot-sore, blistered pilgrims.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>The volunteers also transport pilgrims&#8217; gear from camp to camp.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>And they shadow the column of walking pilgrims every step of the way, providing rides &amp; rest to the weary.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>They also help to prepare bivouacs along the way. Pilgrims assist one another &#8212; helping especially the women &amp; children &#8212; to pitch tents.<\/p>\n<p>They organize and lead pilgrims in &#8216;brigades&#8217; of 25-35 pilgrims.  And assist the sacred Clergy to concentrate on their ministry at holy Altar, to pilgrims in confession, and all along the way.<\/p>\n<p>See <a href=\"https:\/\/pilgrimage-for-restoration.org\/blog\/?p=6847\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this post<\/a> for more about what organizers provide for pilgrims, and what the registration fee covers.<\/p>\n<p>This year Friday and Saturday\u2019s privately owned farm sites are equipped only with running water.
