Once you’ve registered<\/a>, begun to pray with fellow pilgrims, and requested the shuttle<\/a>, it’s time to make plans to overnight Thursday in order to be ready to form up with your brigade, pray  holy Mass, eat breakfast, and step-off bright & early Friday morning.<\/p>\n

There are a few choices, which are as follows, in order of pilgrim-popularity:<\/p>\n

1<\/i><\/b>.   Stay at the Lake George Battleground Campground<\/a>.

NOTE:   The online “ReserveAmerica [dot] com site linked below shows “no sites available” for Thursday, September 22. The Battleground Campground is sold-out already to fellow pilgrims. A pilgrim can ‘take his chances’ to meet-up with a fellow pilgrim, to ask to stay on his reserved site: six campers are permitted per site. Alternately, reserve a tent-site at another campground nearby, or at a motel in Lake George Village. Read on.<\/h4>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The cost to camp there Thursday evening is not<\/strong><\/em> covered by the registration fee. Pilgrims pay when reserving a campsite online, or at the entrance to the Campground upon arrival.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Company of St. Ren\u00e9 Goupil<\/a><\/em> volunteers will shuttle pilgrims from their PT terminal in Albany or (if driving) from the destination Shrine at Auriesville (where pilgrims can retrieve their vehicles at the end of the pilgrimage, Sunday) to the above Battleground Campground for required check-in Thursday afternoon and evening, provided they have requested the shuttle<\/a> in advance<\/b><\/i>.  Pilgrims reform with their brigades Friday morning bright and early (at the Million Dollar Beach parking lot) not far from the Campground, and step-off directly from the Campground.<\/p>\n

NOTE: There is no need to shuttle pilgrims from Lake George Battleground Campground to form up with one’s brigade at the the Million Dollar Beach parking lot, because the two locations are close to each other, and the step-off point Friday morning is the same Campground.<\/p>\n

Reserve a room<\/a> at Cramer’s Point Motel. Mention you are a pilgrim, and that you are willing to share a room with another pilgrim in order to qualify for a reduced rate.<\/p>\n

The volunteer-organizers will also schedule to shuttle you from your over-night accommodations to the step-off location Friday morning.<\/p>\n
