The shuttle is provided to enable you to arrive at the step-off location, to begin the pilgrimage, so that at the end of the pilgrimage you can recover your vehicle at the destination shrine, instead of finding your own way back to the starting-point.<\/p>\n

You also need the shuttle if you use public transportation (PT) to arrive for pilgrimage, and\/or to depart with PT after pilgrimage.<\/p>\n

Whether a pilgrim first arrives by public transport or drives solo, all pilgrims (except<\/b> those driving with<\/i> passengers) first arrive in Auriesville, NY at the parking lot behind the Coliseum church<\/a> – the same location linked in the webform<\/a>. There, organizers help pilgrim-DRIVERS ONLY park their vehicles. Then, organizers shuttle the pilgrim-drivers to the required check-in<\/a> at the starting point, and (after check-in) also to their lodgings.<\/p>\n

NOTE: When requesting the shuttle, drivers arriving with<\/u> passengers<\/b><\/i> receive special instructions on the same webform<\/a>. In short, drivers must first drop all passengers at Wood Park in Lake George Village to check-in, then drivers ONLY drive their vehicles to the destination Shrine (to park there until Sunday) in Auriesville, and return Thursday after noon by shuttle<\/a> to the check-in location at Wood Park. LAST SHUTTLE DEPARTS AURIESVILLE SHRINE AT 8:00 P.M.<\/em> Thursday evening, September 26.<\/strong><\/p>\n

You must<\/b> therefore submit the form<\/a> to organizers — even if<\/i> you assume you will not need to use the shuttle service it arranges.<\/p>\n

In sum<\/b>, to obtain the help of organizers and to plan with them to arrive at check-in Thursday<\/a> (which is also the step-off location Friday morning), and in order also to be reunited with your vehicle after Mass or return to your PT port Sunday, you must submit this form<\/a> no later than Sunday, 22 September 2024.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In the event you use public transportation (via air or bus) to arrive in Albany, NY, organizers will shuttle you from the respective PT terminal Thursday to the check-in location and to your lodgings nearby; and on Sunday back to your PT terminal. For that leg of the shuttle, you also must<\/b> submit the same form<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The organizer in charge<\/a> of the shuttle & responsible to answer all transportation questions can help you — at your request — to form a car-pool: but only after<\/u><\/em><\/strong> you submit the same form<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In every case, ‘plain-vanilla pilgrims’ & pilgrim-organizers need to plan, together, in advance.<\/p>\n

Submitting the shuttle request<\/a> facilitates your transportation Thursday, September 26, from the arrival parking lot behind the Coliseum church at the destination Shrine in Auriesville to Thursday’s check-in<\/b> at the step-off location, and again Friday morning, September 27 from motel to the rendezvous point with your brigade at the step-off location.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Request the shuttle only after<\/i> registering<\/a> & submitting the fee.<\/b><\/p>\n
