Here follows a summary of registration-fees, with emphasis on discounts.
Discounts for timely registration of a group and a family are different — and have all changed in 2014. But both discounts still have in common that they expire June 1.
a.) The fee for the first two pilgrims (adults or minors) is always $95 each.
b.) The fee for each pilgrim thereafter registered on the same form — the group making one payment, together — is $60.
After the discount period, ending June 1, “procrastinators’ fees” kick in:
i.) Registrations postmarked after June 1 cost $95 per pilgrim.
ii.) Postmarked after July 1, $110/pilgrim
iii.) Postmarked after August 1, $125/pilgrim
iv.) Postmarked after September 1 or ‘walk-ons’, $150/pilgrim
Nota bene:
No soul is kept from pilgrimage for want of a fee. See the explanation about “alms for palms” for ways to afford pilgrimage.
If after begging “alms for palms” there is still hardship, a pilgrim may plead to the Director via e-mail and follow up by phone, 610/435-2634.
A minimum of three pilgrims must register using the same form (online or by mail) before June 1 for a discount to apply.
To qualify for any discount, payment by check or online must be made with one check sent in one envelope, or in one online transaction.
The newly designed group web-form takes the guess-work out of the final fee. The registrant is shown the total amount as soon as he/she chooses the “total number of pilgrims” radio button on page 2 of the online form, and when submitting the form on page three.
a. The fee for the first two family members (adults or minors) is $90 each.
b. The fee for each family member over 12 years-old is $50.
After the discount period, ending June 1, “procrastinators’ fees” kick in:
i. Family registrations postmarked after June 1 cost $90 per family member over 12 years-old
ii. Postmarked after July 1, $105/member over 12
iii. Postmarked after August 1, $120/member over 12
iv. Postmarked after September 1, $145/member over 12 – or/and at walk-onNOTE: All family-members pay $145 at walk-on, including those under 13 years-old.
Nota bene:
No family is kept from pilgrimage for want of a fee. See the explanation about “alms for palms” for ways to afford pilgrimage.
