Question #1 – “What should I do first?”

After registering, it’s time to pray.

Pilgrimage Chaplain, Father Moreau, asks all pilgrims to recite the pilgrim’s prayer, composed in three short lines by St. Nicholas of Flüe.

Short as it is, it can be memorized in a minute, tops. Stick it to your refrigerator or bathroom mirror to remind you to pray it devotedly every day.

My Lord and my God,
take from me whatever keeps me from Thee.

My Lord and my God,
grant me whatever brings me to Thee.

My Lord and my God,
take my self, to live wholly in Thee.

St. Nicholas of Flüe, 1447-1487
